Day 144. Bagan - Kalaw
Our day began with a photo shoot in front of some Pagodas. Min Min is a good photographer and keen to enlarge his portfolio and share his photos with us. We have a new driver Mr. Win who is very nice. Then it was off through the flat and undulating countryside on our 290km journey. The temperature climbed and we were really hot by time we stopped for lunch. Lunch was Shan noodles which have become a bit of a staple here for us. Just noodles and veggies but in a really tasty broth. After lunch we had only 70km to go and headed into the Shan mountain range. Very beautiful countryside and wound out way up and up towards our destination, Kalaw.
