Day 157. Cha Am - Ban Krut
Another easy 200km ride down the coast this morning. One stop for our now obligatory smoothie or ice tea. We are on cruise control for a few days as we head towards to Kuala Lumpur. We passed the narrowest part of Thailand today with the hills on our right designating the border with Myanmar. We are heading into the southern provinces where there has been unrest in the past. We passed 3 police checkpoints. Usually the police at the checkpoints wave us through, these guys completely ignore us with no acknowledgement of our existence at all. Could be worse I guess. We have booked into a little resort place on the coast. Not flash but nice enough. Our little bungalow is equidistant from the sea and the pool. Tough choice. After lunch we opted for the sea. Robyn was first but soon was back saying it looked a bit steep so could I go first. Of course my darling anything for you.
