Day 162 Georgetown

After a good nights sleep and a bit of a lie in we had a nice breakfast near the pool. This hotel is excellent and the location  is spot on.

I have to admit I am still not right in the tummy department so I decided to seek medical help. We found a clinic within walking distance and just walked in. After only about 10 minutes a nice young Dr. saw me. He seemed thorough and I walked out with another antibiotic and a few other pills and potions besides. Here’s hoping.

We then caught a cab to a local mall which was massive and had a wander around the shops, we can’t really buy yet but most of our existing clothes will not be making the return leg to NZ.

After an excellent lunch of delicious Vietnamese food we headed back to the hotel to watch the AB’s. The least said about that the better!

We then wandered for a couple of hours in the old town. It is very much a living and working community. An absolutely delightful place and there are many local and international tourists just taking it in.

No hustle and bustle just a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The street art is very cool and we also stumbled upon a small Chinese dragon festival.

We ate at a food hall but the least said about that the better!

  1. Great photos! Definitely the least said about the rugby the better.
Hope the potions take affect soon and you’re feeling better. Take care
