Day 103. Lahore
I had a great nights sleep last night and am feeling much better. Robyn is having a bit of a relapse so we will have to wait and see.

A couple of street scenes on the way back to the hotel.
We have a lovely park opposite our hotel, we managed about an hours walk through it and decided that was enough for today, it is really humid and hot.
My Pakistani princess.
The walk was nice though with many botanical specimens well preserved and looked after dating back to British times. The gardens are well kept and many beds are being prepared for annual planting.
Given the circumstances we decided not to eat here.

Back to rest up and continue the recuperation.
Good to hear you feeling a tad better, great photos and stories from you both,
ReplyDeleteGo you good things, awesome adventure
With both of you having been unwell, perhaps a good result will be that the long suffering Triumph has a lighter load, and is a touch more spacious?Just a touch.Lol Pleased you are both back in better shape.
ReplyDeleteGood things do happen Russell and yes the load (us) is steadily getting lighter (us) as the trip goes on. This event just made that happen a lot faster. However at the time it was seriously difficult to see any good at all😀
DeleteNot difficult to imagine. No fun being unwell at home, and when its somewhere that no matter how warm and hospitable people are there are language challenges and extra effort needed to navigate the streets and shops and find chemist etc, it all compounds the misery. So pleased for you both it only seemed a long 'down' period.
